Inhabiting matter:

Beyond their shape and texture, each piece transforms the space it inhabits. When staged in carefully chosen interiors, the sculptures enter into dialogue with the architecture, awakening the volumes and redesigning the light. Matter becomes breath. Form becomes narrative.

Abyssal immersion

The polyps float in the dim light like lost jellyfish. These luminous, rounded formations resemble sea anemones. Their skin is a mantle of repetitive expansions, ready to undulate to the rhythm of imaginary currents. The light they emit — a glass globe with a luminous ring running through it — resembles the bioluminescence of creatures from the depths of the ocean.

In a living room, they transform the evening into a suspended moment. The room becomes an aquarium: a gentle refuge where time slows down.

The Bitter nests echo from the corners. Their vibrant textures and pleated bodies evoke an aquatic dance against a backdrop of pearly seaweed. Taking a deep breath in the filtering light, it's hard to tell whether it's curtains or a water mirror — the mystery remains the same.

The Madrepores and Meandres wall decorations plunge viewers into an organic, mineral world. Their sculpted surfaces evoke the gradual, hidden formation of the seabed. The material folds and unfolds, slipping away. They create a rhythm and a fossilised breath from another time.

A bare wall is suddenly brought to life, as if the sea has deposited its age-old secrets there. The space becomes more intimate and is naturally structured around these reliefs, which create new areas within the room.

Scales and floats

Suspended or anchored to the wall, Les Affranchies embody animal grace. Their fluid lines and taut curves evoke the flight of a ray or the movement of a fish in sunlight. Their scaly surface further enhances this lively shimmer.

When hung in an entranceway, they welcome visitors like benevolent totems. When fixed along the side of a staircase, they accompany the perpetual movement of ascending.

These pieces transform the space into an imaginary underwater world. Each piece offers an immersive experience and an invitation to re-enchant walls, ceilings and spaces at the frontier of reality.

Each sculpture is created in the studio and shaped by hand using traditional techniques. The dimensions and finishes are naturally adapted to each project and location, each of which has its own unique character.
